I'm sorry Sonnja, I did not use your link but I did go to eBay. Are you looking at a square trivet with a sponged rope design around the edges? That is an America trivet made without the Pea**** center motif. I couldn't find anything else that might have been a trivet.
The auction is in a seller's store. It's square, but, not the by-request square w/rope embossing. I've never seen this before & wonder if it's really america. I can't post a pic here or anywhere for that matter!!! I couldn't even send you a pic of my sampler quilt for the newsletter I don't have time or inclination to figure out the problem. As a friend of mine once said "pc's can make you lose your religion" LOL

It was a bin auction for $12.99 I say was because I just found it under completed auctions. It said seller ended auction early due to item no longer being available. I wonder what happened?

Isn't that different? It looks as if the edges are turned up a little, doesn't it? If someone on the board bought it, I hope they let us know what it is when they get it.
Deb, I check ebay for folk art almost daily. I haven't bid on anything in a long time, but, just can't shake the habit of looking. America gets mislisted as folk art on occasion. Sometimes I check seller's stores for pfz by only typing in the color "yellow" + pfaltzgraff. And when I'm really bored I'll check for the word pfaltzgraff misspelled.
I've seen the private bidder id's before, but, I kind of thought ebay had gone private anyway with all the bidder id's having the *** in the middle. I hope someone here got those dishes for a good price!
