Yes, I read them We were having computer server problems ( Comcast) and I couldn't get on here. I just had to sign in as a new member, so I'm finally back to answer your "inane" questions!!! Keep them coming

Hi, Susan!

Thanks so much for posting.  Sometimes I get the feeling I'm talking to myself.  Well, I DO talk to myself sometimes:)

Sorry about your computer problems.  There is nothing more frustrating.  Hope they have been resolved.  We had a lightning strike at the office early Monday morning that caused multiple problems.

It seems to be working at the moment. The technicians are really nice and prompt, but they have had to be out too often lately. We also have Comcast as our tv server so it has been interesting to say the least. When our neighbors saw the truck out here on Sunday, three people ran up to him to say that the internet was out. Nothing serious, just minor everyday annoyances

Sure do!  My computer was in the shop for over a week!  Hard drive went out and lost everything!  Good to be back!

Hey, Thelma! Good to have you back - sorry to hear about your computer problems. Glad you're back up and running. Did you have a backup? I've been using the online service Carbonite - easy to set up then forget. You should take the plunge and get a laptop or mini. Very nice to sit in your easy chair and type away. I think the mister uses it just as much as I do!

Deb-While we can't test this hypothesis on this new site, I suspect if you could get back to the old site, you would see that many more people read the posts than actually post themselves.  I check the MB almost daily and certainly don't post every time I log on but I do try to post to every question.  From the posts I read I feel as though I know some of our members very well.  It can be very cathartic to share your thoughts with strangers (almost) and not have to worry about putting your foot in your mouth!  I personally have made some very close connections with several of our members and consider them friends.  A very good thing.
