Time to start playing with your dishes

Just Dishes Dinnerware is hosting a contest.

All us collectors of pottery love to play with our dishes, so JDD is hosting a "tablescape" contest & we would love to have some Pfaltzgraff tablescapes included in the mix of the other dinnerware lines.

The rules are as follows:

Requirements for entry:

1.) You must use at least 2 different color dishes.

2.) Summit a title &/or story about your tablescape ... i.e.: tablecloth history, dishes used, etc. (optional)

3.) Limit 2 pictures per entry.

4.) Limit three (3) different tablescape entries per person.

5.) You must be 18 years or older & a resident of the United States with a US address.

6.) Email entries to colorfuldishes@comcast.net include your name, address, email.(Participants names will be noted after the contest ends by their entry.)

7.) 2 prizes will be given away. 1 prize for the most votes & 1 prize drawn at random from all participants. Prizes to be announced at a later date.

8.) Deadline for entries will be October 1, 2009

9.) Voting begins October 2, 2009 - ends October 15, 2009

10.) Winner to be announced October 18, 2009

The entries will be hosted on our sister site at http://www.colorfuldishes.com/tablescapes-fall.htm

Hope to see some Pfaltzgraff tablescapes & good luck.

Maryann

I'll give it a shot!  I've got Blue Willow and cobalt Fiesta, America and cobalt Fiesta and Holiday Spice and cinnabar Fiesta.  I'd like to play with my dishes!

Wonderful - remember you can do up to 3 entries so have fun playing. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Well, I have Pfaltzgraff America and Corelle plain white so I don't think that would look very interesting:)

White can be used to make a very elegant tablescape.  Think about how you could accent it out with other items.  Sometimes a very monotone color accented with other colors looks absolutely elegant.

White plates with a colored sorbet glass for example.   Let the imagination loose.  LOL
