I've an america cookie jar w/handles, rectangle baker & set of 4 american originals tumblers for sale @ $25 each + ship from VA. If interested please email me at sonnjab@aol.com
Hi Deb, The tumblers remind one of a quilt w/ 10 different blocks . It's compatable with Yorktowne, Village, Folk Art, America, & Heritage....although Yorktowne is represented more w/ 4 blocks, it does in my opinion color match the America & Folk Art much more.
I can email you a picture if you'd like. Thanks for your interest.
The lady who founded the folk art collectors club authored a reference guide & that's where I saw the American Original items made by pfz....a very rare pattern. They include: quilt pillow cross stitch booklet, cook book vol 11, a gorgeous 50" x 50" quilt, outdoor mat, copper framed tile trivet, border wallpaper, wooden shelf, wooden bread box, wooden lazy susan, not only the pictured tumblers above, but the juice size too, wooden veg bin, wooden message ctr, wooden recipe box, wooden napkin holder, upright towel holder, fabric placemats, clear & cobalt glassware, lastly the stencil. I had the stencil & still have the trivet & tumblers, but the rest are pretty darn rare.
Thank ya, Ma'am. There is a picture of a pillow stitched from the cross stitch pattern in the Q&A section of Newsletter Issue #40. Maybe we can find some additional pics of this interesting series. Sonnja, you come up with the best stuff!
I think there may have been some of these on ebay in the past-not real recently though and not sure if they were listed under America. I sometimes check other patterns!
