Hello! I'm looking at costumes now and thinking about how to dress up Mr. Ezra, my Bouvier des Flandres. We've got two dates...a preschool visit (6 classes) to teach Halloween sign language asd a Howl-o-ween party with other Bouviers. Last yr was a blast...Miz T got to smooze with her 3 mo old nieces and nephews...they were dressed as Holdtein cows. She also met her great-granddaughter. She had the distinct honor of being the oldest there at age 13 and wore an angel headband. However, Mr. E is a whole different doggie.
Last yr, Mr. Micheal Phelps was there...complete with a cap (with cutout for the Bouvier ears), big sunglasses, the swimming medals and a bright neon colored speedo! The costume winner was Little Bo-Peep, complete with a dress and shepard hook. She carried her sheep toy around with her. Darling outfit!
So..am looking at a tusedo with a top hat. So much...have to look around.
However, many of you have dogs. Any ideas you've used for Halloweed costumes?
Miz M painted an utterly awesome T with a "BatBouv" against a moon for Miz T. Had that in Miz T's box, which, unfortunately got flooded and disposed of by the cleaning crew. Not in good condition. Otherwise, I'd have Mr. E as BatBouv. The black ears are uncannilly like Batman's ears.
Just wanna have fun with Mr. Ezzie...(aka Ezra).

Because of the "Batman" like ears, I've decided to go this route for Halloween with Ezra. (someone mentioned I should be Robin?) Maybe I'll go as the Joker with a Joker mask..? I found a dog Batman costume to fit a dog...and it has the oval moon and the bat. I'm going to copy the moonsize, and iron on a yellow felt moon and put a Bouvier shape in the middle of the moon. . I can "sitchery witchery' /iron it on top of the dog Batman costume. It's got the belt, the cape. The cape I had before for Tracy was so loose she tripped. This is geared for a dog. A safe costume for a dog.
