This might take some thought. Some of us are working and some are retired but if you were young enough to start a new career and you knew you could not fail, what would you choose? Money is not the object.
I would have loved to have been a character actress. I've never acted in anything nor did I in school but I wished I would have tried.
I would have liked to have been an artist, skilled in all kinds of media. Enough to make a living off it. Gee...who does that bring to mind? Miz M, of course. Eileen?
I love folk art, primitive art, soft sculpture art, I love the Grant Woods, The Grandma Moses, her grandson, Will Moses, . I have a number of originals by Deborah Gregg and some from Miz M. I take great joy from my folk art collection and really wished I had the talent.
I think I would have liked being an interior decorator. Now that I have retired from teaching in public school and am only working part time as a professor, I have the time to be a working watercolor artist which is fun. I work part time at Pottery Barn where on occasion I get to do some design work for people. I really think that I would have enjoyed doing that as a profession.
My other choice, which might seem really weird after reading the first is to be a sports commentator for a baseball team-preferably for the Philadelphia Phillies!!!! GO TEAM! Magic number is now one to clinch the Eastern Division championship of the National League.
deb i also would love that!!! i think all of us in the club have decorating skills from looking at everyone's pictures of their homes qvc sure does sound fun!!!!
