Hi Everyone, I know we have very creative and crafty folks in our PACC and I am wondering if anyone knows something about "beading flatware"? I saw some pieces at a local craft mall, "YIKES" they were very expensive. I've looked for instructon books at Hobby Lobby and online...nothing! It looks to be fairly easy if you knew how to get started. I thought some serving pieces done in our America colors would be awsome!!!! If anyone can supply an instruction source, I would love to give this project a "go". I found a site that sells the pieces but once again they were too expensive. The site was www.beadedpizzazz.com. Check it out and see all the beautif pieces. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Fall...My favorite time of year! Ann
That's a neat idea - I've beaded ink pens before but never tried flatware. Wasn't very successful with the pen beading either. Hopped over to etsy to see if any were on offer. Look at these - pretty, but as you said, pricey!
Thanks Deb, I hope this is not another of my projects headed for the black hole in what my husband calls the "hobby lobby" closet. I seem to come up with all these great ideas and buy the necessary goodies only to never find time to finish a project! I tell him after I'm dead, maybe his next wife will finish them! Hope you find something, I am not very adept at research either! Maybe SHE will be! hehe Ann
I know what you mean - I got into making bracelets, took some classes, bought all the little tools, lots of different beads then I lost interest so now I have a whole drawer full of stuff I probably will never use. Funny thing is, I don't even wear jewelry.
I'm fascinated by basket weaving and thought about taking a class but stopped myself before I invested any time or money into it.
I do have hundreds and hundreds of graphics on my computer as I was into computer crafting at one time. Good thing about that is the mister can't see them so he can't complain about them taking up space. hehehe
