What's the most unusual item in your refrigerator right now?
You guys will laugh cause it's not unusual for anybody but the mister and me. We were at the Wal-Marts yesterday buying groceries. Same old, same old every week. Put the red delicious apples in the cart. "Did you ever eat any other kind of apple?" "No, I never did" So we bought one of every kind of apple they had and one night we're going to have an apple buffet. We need to get a life.
That's funny since my daughter and I went to a famous NJ orchard last week "Delicious Orchards" and we did a similar thing. Bought a couple kinds of apples and a strange kind of orange that had a sort of reddish flesh inside. Not a blood orange, but similar. Also bought fingerling sweet potatoes. Just have to find out how to cook them before they go bad! My husband has his eye drops to treat glaucoma on the shelf on the door of the frig-that's pretty weird.
