Helloooooo

I found my way back!  Don't know what was up with the 404 error.

Cold enough for ya?  It's a blistering 6 degrees and snowing.

Headed to Tulsa town for the weekend.  Gonna see me some Monster Jam - doesn't that sound like fun? (sarcasm intended)  Should stay in town and work on the house as the carpet is coming Monday but we're tired of dealing with the whole re-model so off we go.  I have my list of addresses ready so GPS lady can direct me to Garden Ridge, Godrmans, Cheesecake Factory, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware.  Can you tell it's been awhile since I've been anywhere???

Have a great weekend and STAY WARM!

RE: Helloooooo

So glad to see you back! It is cold here in SE PA but I don't think quite that cold! I have 25 with a wind chill-they said wind chills will be in the single digits overnight tonight and Sat. night! These temps are cold for here for this time of year, but it is Winter! I have never been to Cheesecake Factory-I have heard some at work talk about it,will have to see if there is one in the area! I have not been to the Pottery barn outlet yet and this reminds me there is also a Restoration Hardware store at Rockvale Outlets also! Will have to check out both of those, sure will not be this weekend! I plan to pretty much stay home and stay warm! Have a great weekend! Let us know what you find!

Sounds like your shopping trip will be fun. Neat new spring stuff at Pottery Barn. There are about 6 things that I want. Really neat pierced tin lanterns and a metal milk bottle carrier with six small bottles for flowers, also, some cute metal "doll" chairs. Watch, they'll all be gone before I work again on Sunday.

Cheesecake factory is in King of Prussia and in Cherry Hill, NJ Don't know about SE PA. Great salads, appetizers and of course dessert. Haven't had a full entree there yet.

Sounds like I need to check out Pottery barn shortly! I wanted to ask a friend of mine about Cheesecake Factory,I know a few weeks ago she mentioned it also-but keep forgetting. King of Prussia is about an hr.away-I think-it's been a long time that I was there! It is to be in the 30's here next week-can't wait! The PA State Farm Show in Harrisburg started today,we are going on Tuesday to see some horse contests ,exhibits and of course indulge in some great food! Maybe Rockvale next weekend! Stay warm!

Hubby had Louisiana Chicken Pasta and I had Hawaiian Pizza. Yum! Oh, and a piece of original cheesecake. Didn't buy anything at Pottery Barn but did at Restoration Hardware. Found a TV stand at Gordmans and it was on clearance plus I got to use a 20% off coupon so I was a happy shopper. Not so happy when I got back home and discovered the bathroom mirror I bought at Garden Ridge won't work.

PS It's 51 degrees here today!  All the snow and ice has turned to mud.  Crazy weather.

The January thaw is here. Supposedly, it happens almost every year. It is a real tease because it gives you hope and then it is freezing again. Supposed to be 50 tomorrow. My husband and I are going to go for a hike in a county park near here. Try to take advantage of the nice weather

Just got back from the hike. More overcast than forecasted, but mild enough to unzip the jacket at the end of the walk. There is a floating bridge over a rather large pond-water frozen. Home to some Canadian geese, snow geese and Blue herons. Nice to see the birds. Good to get some exercise with a nice background

RE: Helloooooo

It was 56 degrees yesterday & 60 degrees in VA today & most of the snow is melted.  Sue I had suffered a little cabin fever during our blizzard so I followed a neat article from last x-mas Southern Living mag on making bird feeders with stale bread, peanut butter & wild bird seed & of course you could garnish with raisins, cherrios, etc.  (I had intended to get the grandkids in on the action, but maybe next visit).  I strung them up on trees & watched the birds come over smile.gif  It was great....still is, first the woodpeckers come over with many blue birds.  The woodpeckers left after a day or two but the blue birds have decided to stay & so I filled the old squirrel proof bird feeder & hung that back up.  We had to take it down 5 or 6 years ago due to the 3 barn cats, but now we're down to 1 lone Fraidy Cat & yes she's been spotted checking out the action.
