It looks like our area may get more snow Mon. into Tues. The forecast is showing possibly 6-12 inches! Many roads were only passable yesterday morning! At the rate we are going, there will be snow piles as we start mowing
Hi Thelma, How come you guys are getting all the snow? We have had so little here in MA!!!!!!!!!!! My husband goes to Vermont every other weekend (while I am working) and they don't even have that much!!!!!! I am also looking forward to spring . Been looking at all the flower catalogs!!!!!!!!!!!!! debbie
We are supposed to get 4-8 inches more Monday night. My daughter's house up on the north part of the Jersey shore looks like a moonscape. It is a townhouse community with narrow roads and no sidewalks. Some piles of snow are over six feet tall since there is no real place to put it. Two of their bushes near their front door are so weighed down with snow and they are leaning over the walkway and you can't walk to the front door which is actually on the side of the house. Luckily, they always go in through the garage. I keep having to reschedule my Student Teacher observations. ENOUGH!!!!
Susan,we have plenty of space to put snow, but you can only push the heavy, wet snow so far into the yards,so we have 5-6 ft.piles along the driveways and walks. Some of the roads where it has been drifting are barely passable even this afternoon! If we get the forecasted snow it will be quite a mess! Sure hope their forecast is not correct this time!
They have changed the forecast here to about an inch. Pennsylvania is going to get hit harder this time. In a normal winter that is how it usually works around here.
Our area had barely an inch of snow last night-so thankful! The winds today were causing drifting on some roads again-but it was sunny and in the mid 30's! Time for Spring!
