You have your choice of the BOP Cross Stitch Pattern, the America Collection Brochure, the Ohio Star Santa Gourd or the Santa Plate.  Congrats!

The cross stitch pattern!  Thanks! Are you having a good time-did you see Emeril? It is a very rainy day in PA!

Emeril was not at the restaurant, sadly.  However the meals were exquisite and a good time was had by all!  Another question in a few minutes.

Maybe no one knows the answer!  You can answer more than one question.

Connie did a wonderful job, if you have never seen it.  I will try to put a really closeup view in the August issue.

What you would like for your second correct answer??

Did the "You are Special" plate and mug sell together?

I will say no-I did not purchase mine as a set-I looked at old newsletters and they were not selling as a set. Is anyone else out there?

No, the plate was released in 1988 and the mug in 1989. You are right again Thelma. We've got a brochure, a tissue box cover and the Ohio Star Santa Gourd. Take your pick.

Hey, I'm here at last - Deano wanted to get out of the house so we went to Joplin for lunch and to the movies. I have to admit I did not know the answers to the previous questions. I do have all the newsletters so I could look it up but y'all know I'm lazy. Congrats, Thelma!

I'll check back at 5 for another question. Thank you, Miz M, for including us:)

These questions were given to me by Debbie Miller.  I asked her to supply some good questions for the trivia contest.  These questions come from her book in progress and judging from these questions-the book should be a storehouse of "America" information!

The last question is a two parter.  Answer either part for credit.

What could customers buy for $5.00 with the purchase of a dinnerware set in 1983?

What could a customer receive for free in 1984 with the purchase of a dinnerware set from the Yield House Catalog?

It is someone else's turn to get these! I am not sure about the Yield House catalog! This has made a dreary, pouring rain afternoon fun! Thanks so much and I hope you have a great time and have lots to report to all us stay-at-homers!

Deb--you are right on both questions--what a whiz!  We have a cross stitch pattern, an America Collection brochure and a fabulous Santa gourd painted by you-know-who.  You may pick two!

Oh boy! I'm glad you said I could pick two cause I want that gourd and that x-stitch pattern. Thank you kindly. I will admit I cheated, er, used some resources to find the answers. I ran and found my America book:)

You could call your best friend or shout out to the street--it doesn't matter how you get your answers as long as they are right!  Your goods will be shortly forthcoming!

Thanks for playing "Convention Trivia" everyone!

The convention is officially over!
