Hi members and friends! I am sorry that I have had to be away for so long. I have not been well and while I chose not to spill my guts (for once) about my health issues, I am feeling better and have a positive outlook. Many members have asked about annual ornaments so I am going to go back into the business for a couple of months--as my health allows. I am so encouraged by a recent MRI that I have planned ornaments through 2025. Email me with what you want and I will give a nice discount for bulk orders. Of course, you do not have to pay until you receive your order. nunnery8@bellsouth.net is the address.

I'll take one of everything, oh wait, I think I already have the sugar and creamer, can't remember if I already have the tureen??? When I get my stuff unpacked, I'll let you know.
Hi Margaret, Sorry to hear you have been sick. I'm so glad you are better I'm wondering if you have any of the tin FA bird ornaments left? I'd be very interested in one of those!
Thanks Thelma. While I have designed the ornaments, I do not have any prototypes, except for the sugar and creamer. If you have any of my ornaments-the teapot, teabag, rooster mug and fancy cookie jar and the colored food mold and the sugar and creamer--then you know what to expect. The pieces are wooden and in the 3-4" range. I will post some pics as I actually paint some of them up. Deb-You were the only person who actually received the sugar and creamer--did I send you a plate with a fruitcake cookie on it?? I have not started on the tureen but will start as soon as I get an order or two. I do have several of the creamer, etc., sets cut out and can have them done quickly. It is good to be back here---I hope this lasts for a while! Sonnja-hello my friend. I will start working on a bird--just for you! I got a really good picture from Eileen so I have the basis for a good likeness.

Yes, ma'am, I do have a plate with a cookie on it. See how that stands out in my memory when all my stuff has been packed for close to 3 months? Fruitcake does that to a person.
Thelma--I think I was charging (back in the day) $5.00 for the rooster, the dog, the partridge, the ostrich and the pea****. I charged $6.00 for Hanible and Ivory Black. $30.00 for all the chargers is a savings of $7.00. The dinner plates are $5.00 a piece and are $15.00 for all four. The chargers are just shy of 3" and the dinner plates are about 2 1/2".
Deb: Your plate had a chocolate chip cookie on it. I was sorely tempted to fruitcake you! Then I heard you ate a piece of fruitcake in my honor and I was vastly ashamed for my evil thoughts. Please forgive me.

I asked my wood man (that would be Mr. Bill) to start cutting out my new ornaments. I asked him to start with the tureen and proceed from there. He brought me in 5 beanpots. Oh well, I guess we will start off with the beanpots. To everyone who ordered everything, I will be shipping out batches of about four or five sets. Pay from the invoice when you receive your order. Anyone want a beanpot????....I got some.
Thanks! I do drink green tea and black tea and white tea daily...sweetened with stevia in my Toby mug. That mug just makes me smile...its such a quirky piece to me. Reminds me of ol' Ben Franklin. I look forward to it all! Thanks and thanks for thinking of me!
The toby mug was always one of my favorites. It was one of the first,as I call it,decorative pieces I bought. I only have one and I have rarely used it.I do enjoy looking at him, always reminds me of Ben Franklin also!
Ialso love my toby mug but only have one. I always say I am going to start using my special pieces more but, then I don't want to break them. I am still wondering which ornaments to order. I also want them all!!!!
For all my good customers who have ordered "everything", I will also send you any extras that I make as surprises for other folk, such as Sue's toby mug and the toothpick holders. They will be dated the year they are actually made. You don't have to ask for them--I will just send them. Thank you very much for all your orders. I will post some pics of the new stuff in the next few days.
Margaret, I would like to add to my order if possible. I would love the doggie bowl with the name SADIE on it . Thats my new granddog (english bulldog)!!!!!!!!!!!
Mama would like a kitty bowl ornament with my name on it. I bet she won't even let me play with it once it's hanging on the tree. I never get to have any fun.
I feel certain that your momma would be thrilled to share your ornament and will let you take it off the tree any time you want. If she doesn't, let me know and I will send you a Deb ornament with her name on it so that you will have one just like hers. It is our secret---sshhh!
Hi Kristi. You are absolutely right--the Toby Mug could be a fright, specially to our younger collectors. He is an old traditional pattern that many folks mistake for Benjamin Franklin although he has been around a lot longer. He is WAY too big to use as a beverage container (for me) but I know that several of our members do use him as a cup. Just keep in mind that there is a smile on his face so maybe he won't be quite as fearsome. I use him as a sweetener holder for dinner parties.
Here is a pic of the tabbed cake plate ornament. These ornaments are also offered in many other Pfaltzgraff patterns for our "mixed" family of collectors. Email me at: nunnery8@bellsouth.net for more information.

It is taking me a long time to work on these ornaments, but is a great pleasure to do so. I can honestly say that I know our dishes inside and out--I spend so much time looking at them! I never get tired of working with them. In the picture, some of them are not finished so it will give you a kind of before and after effect. I have just started working on the bonus Toby mugs and may ship them with the next batch. The next bonus piece will be the pet bowls!
They really do look great! Having virtually completed the Pfaltzgraff America collection the "Nunnery America" items provide the anticipation and enjoyment we formerly had in collecting the Pfaltzgraff. Margaret, good to see you are feeling well and enjoying the creative process. I could say that I can't wait, but I can, I just don't want to. I'll be keeping an eye on my mailbax.
The saw and the blades are mine, actually. Since I am having a little vision problem, old Mr. Bill is doing my lightwork for me. That is a joke!
Most of these pieces will go out Friday or Monday-if I continue to be able to work. Do me a favor and send me your current addresses if there has been a change. I want to make sure you get your ornaments!
Make sure you check out my last entry under "Spring" in General Discussion. Sue sent me this really neat thing. I have done it about a hundred times, myself.
